End of year exams for Grade 7 to 10!
Vandalized toilet by Alex C-M
Today which is Thursday May 30th, somebody vandalized the boy's toilet in MYP. The toilet is on the first floor. The person vandalized by drawing a skull, a sign which maybe said Sc and the word "rizz". The person also put some black ink in the toilet and dropped some wet and some dry paper on the floor. I think this affects the people by not wanting to go to the bathroom because of that. People don't want to go to the bathroom because people don't want to go in a untaken care of bathroom but a clean and taken care of bathroom. I think that the student who did this should go and clean the bathroom because it's not fair that the cleaning staff need clean it. It's not fair because it's not their home. Would you do this at home? I don't think so.
Celiac Awareness day!!! by Niccolò Brandani
On May the 14th, there was the Ceoliac Awareness day where everyone eats only gluten-free food. Some people were happy (the majority of happy people where gluten-free people) and some people were not happy (problably because they are used to gluten food). In this day at school everyone had gluten-free food like rice cakes and gluten-free cake. I interviewed gluten-free people and gluten people and this is their opinion about their gluten-free food that they recieved on the plate.
Gluten-free person:"What a wonderful feeling about today's lunch because first I lined up in the same line like everyone else and I didn't needed to go in the special line. I am incredibly happy today because this is the first time we have a gluten-free cake".
Gluten person:"My complete opinion is that first I didn't like the first plate because it had too many veggies and like teens don't like veggies and at the second plate like it wasn't so much good because I don't like gluten-free food but I really liked the rice cakes and I didn't really like the gluten-free cake".
So at the end you can see that gluten-free people are treaten like special people but when they received only gluten-free food they were enormously happy but that wasn't an advantage for everyone because the majority of the gluten people didn't appreciate the food.

We reached 1000 views!!!!!!!! by George
As of May 2nd, the Journalism Club has achieved above 1000 views on our blog. We are very excited, as we all work extremely hard on the blog. To celebrate this milestone, we planned on having cupcakes but as they were unavailable, we settled on some small pastries with different flavours, such as pistacchio, coconut, cherry, lemon and chocolate. The next milestone is 2000 views, and we are very curious what we are going to get. We also received new notebooks which we can use to record our interviews and notes.

Corsa contro la fame by George
On the 24th of April, we participated in a run that would raise money for charity that would go to the health centers in Bangladesh to take care of malnutrition. It takes 28 euros to save a child from malnutrition and they can take some biscuits that have many proteins. These are enough to give the right amount of food and energy to the children. This could potentially save their life.
Sunflower contest by Alex C-M
From the 22nd of April all of the MYPs from grade 7 - 11 are participating in a sunflower contest. Whose sunflower is healthier, best decorated, and with the most creative name wins. Each grade was provided with some seeds and planting materials on Earth Day (April 22) during home room. On May 27th the sunflowers will be judged by the student council. We are doing this to celebrate Earth day. Earth day is an annual celebration to raise the awareness of the need of protecting the environment.
