Residential Trip Grade 10 - Day 1 at Lake Garda

 Nia-

Day 1 was a very long day. We had a 5 hour bus ride after having to meet up at 7 am in the morning. We climbed trees and zip lined down them. We hung out at the hotel pool for around 2 hours. It as very fun. Dan enjoyed it especially.

Brieuc - Most of day 1 was spent in a bus but once we arrived, everything went much better; we discovered our roommates, climbed trees, and spent two hours laughing in the swimming pool (which was definitely the best part).

Alessandro- day 1 was really funny and cool, this is because we did many entertaining things, like "THE JUNGLE ADVENTURE" or just relaxing in the pool (which was a surprise), and i think that day 1 has only one bad side, that is to wake up early.

Residential trips in MYP by George

In the week of 30th September to 4th October, all of the MYP will go on residential trips all across Italy and even outside.

Grade 7 and 8 are going to Tredozio, a comune on the border of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.

Grade 9 are going to Berlin. Yes, Berlin in Germany. They are going to visit the museums and even the Berlin Wall (or whatever is left of it anyway).

Grade 10 are going to have a fun time as they are going to Lake Garda. they will go visit towns around the lake and go canoeing. on the last day, they will go to Gardaland, an amusement park that is classified as the number one in Italy.

The Grades 7, 8, and 10 will be back on Thursday the 3rd and Grade 9 will be all the week in Berlin. Everyone will be tired, so you might not see many of them in school as they will take the day off.

The trips are expensive but everything is included in them: accommodation, museum fees, transport (in Grade 9's case airplane tickets), all the meals and snacks and the restaurants. The 7,8 and 10 trips are from Monday 30th to Thursday 3rd and the Grade 9 is from Monday to Friday 4th.

Saltalbero field trips of MYP by George

In the week 7th September to 11th September, all of the MYP went to the ropes courses in Saltalbero, which is 45 minutes away. They first started by putting the equipment needed for the ropes courses, then when they arrived at the rope courses, there were 8 levels. They included zip-lines, wire crossings, where there is a thin line of metal wire and number 6, which was classified as the hardest one. It was a full-scale tree climb with footholds and didn't have any room for error. if you made a mistake, you would fall of the tree, but there was a rope that would catch you.
