Holiday Week After Friday!!

Hello Everyone

Today we will talk about the SKI WEEK holidays that will start after Friday!

Some people might ask 'what should I do in this holiday?' Well, I have some suggestions that might help you decide what to do in the holiday.

1. Go skiing!

It is very fun to ski/snowboard and get some fresh air in the mountains. 

The Best Hotel For Skiing: The Adler! By Niccolò Brandani

 The adler, a very famous chain of hotels all around Italy perfect in Winter and Summer. The adler hotels are all 5 stars and their location is out of the world.

 Personally, the adler it's a very fun and social hotel for every type of age, every time I go there i make at least 10 new friends while the older ages can relax in very comfortable arm chair and sofas next to the fire, inside and outside. The Adler is a fun also for the younger ages that can do lots of fun activities (skiing in winter and horse, mountain bike, bee exploring in Summer) at the Aki kids club, a club for minimum 2 year's old and 13 year's old maximum. For other activities, in every Adler there is a gaint inside and outside pool, one cold and one hot, a spa, mountain escursions and more. 

All Adlers give a variety of buffets at breakfast, lunch, snack time and dinner, perfect for every taste buds. The Adlers also have experienced chefs and have a menu for adults and kids. Personally the food like the buffet is very good and the best thing are the waiters, the waiters at Adler Ortisei are really kind and I know all of them from the start of my life. 

The Adlers have a great costumer service and the staff really often creates a solid friendship with the customers, personally I know the majority of the people that work at Adler Ortisei and they are all really good friends of me and my parents.

Overall, the Adlers are a really good 5 star hotels with good customer service, a variety of food and buffets, a variety of activities for all ages and more. Some Alders also have unique things like Skiing and an their own beach. This is what I call an unique hotel.

   Did you know that tomorrow, the 21st of February 2025, is the International Mother Language Day?

Languages are essential to education and sustainable development, serving as the primary means of transferring knowledge and preserving cultures. With approximately 8,324 languages today, many are at risk of disappearing due to globalization and societal change.

This day was declared official by UNESCO on the 17th of November 1999d and later adopted by the                                                                         UN General Assembly.

                                                            

As we celebrate the 25th anniversary, we remember how vital languages are for protecting cultural heritage, improving education, and building more peaceful societies. Let's honor our languages and the rich stories they have to tell!                                  

Valentine's Day Tomorrow! By Filippo Pellegrini

Valentine's Day tomorrow!

The student council organised a chocolate fundrasier event where students have to pay 50 cents to buy a chocolate which they are then going TO GIVE to another person. Actually, the cashier will put your name down when you buy a chocolate and tomorrow the student council will pass by every class and give the right chocolate to the right person.

The student council advisor, Mr Woods, has explained that the fundraiser is needed for future events made by the student council members. For example, in summer we might use the money collected from Valentine's day to prepare a lemonade stand!

Using AI Appropriately in school by Filippo Pellegrini

Hello everyone and welcome to an AI made post (JUST KIDDING tHIS IS NOt At ALL AN AI MADE POSt)

So, as I was about to say, today we are going to talk about how to use Artificial Intelligence appropiately during school work. For example, when you are asked to do an assignment and the teacher says you may use AI to help you, he/she definitely doesn't mean you can search up the answers straight away. Probably the teacher is telling you AI can be used for helping to make your research better or something in which you may use it appropiately. This is why today I am going to tell you why you always NEED to use AI appropiately in school!

1. AI will probably not help you that much in what you need for school

Many people think AI could help in every situation, but sometimes this can only lead to disaster in your progress. Of course, I am not against the idea that AI is very helpful for things like brainstorming, or helping you to make a song! But for reasons like schoolwork, AI is a bit less reliable. First of all Artificial Intelligence might explain the thing you were searching for in SCIENTIFIC terms, which means that for you it would be a bit hard to understand if you do not have solid knowledge. In addition, some forms of AI can be detected so make sure you are using it at home for useful things such as a personal assistant, home automation, or for many other things such as cooking.

2. You can only use AI if your teacher or supervisor allows you to

As i repeat, you are ONLY ALLOWED TO USE THE HELP OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IF PERMITTED. The teacher will only allow you to use this method in occasions like improving your writing for some homework or making creative Powerpoint presentations for example.

 Earthquake in Siena

In these last days, there were a few earthquakes in Siena that affected the learning of a lot of students. The first earthquake happened in Sunday, that led the schools to clousure for building inspection. In the International school of Siena, the students done video calls, while the public schools did not do anything. This affects a lot the learning of students because they might loose important classes. Even today, the 6/02/25, there was an Earthquake, and maybe tomorrow there will not be school again.

Legends part 2- The Chupacabra

 The Chupacabra. A mythical beast first seen in Puerto Rico, the Chupacabra is a chimera (a beast made in a laboratory mixed with different types of DNA). 

The Chupacabra is told to be half reptile, half dog, half rodent, with a bat head and different rotting pieces with some of them even scheletrical. The name Chupacabra stands for "Goat Sucker" because the Chupacabra is told that he eats domestic animals, especially goats. But instead of eating the goats and animals, he sucks their blood, in fact the Chupacabra is a blood-sucking vampire beast.

The Chupacabra has been seen and spoked about in generations across Latin Americans, Puerto Rico and Italy (Caramanico Terme).

There is an Italian legend of the Chupacabra that tells that once upon a time at Caramanico, during summer a beast in the night continued to kill the domestic animals of the people in town and people started to get worried. But after some summers, the beast started to feast even on humans, and that's were all Camaranico went in total chaos. But after some time, a super skilled hunter decided to kill the beast, he spent all the night watching out for him. The night passed and at a certain point the hunter found the beast, and they began to fight. Fortunately, the hunter killed the beast and Camaranico was safe. But, after some summers a second beast came, and from now on every one at Camaranico prepare their defenses towards the beast for let them and their animals safe in summer.
