Calvana Donation by Alex C-M

Pietro Debolini of grade 10 created a poster about wild horses and started a fundraiser to save the wild horses. Pietro says:" They are wild horses, however the most common species in Italy are the Bardigiani, Maremmano and Murgese." The horses are located near Florence in a set of hills where the horses live freely. Not many horses are left because many people hunt them to sell them as meat and many horses die in incidents. You can look further on this website https://www.calvana.it/i-cavalli

When you donate you give money to the charity that after buys medicine to save injured horses just like it happened for Neri (a horse) https://www.calvana.it/salviamolavitadineri. Pietro says:" I decided to save horses because they are my passion since I could remember, my parents both rode horses and I started riding when I was 4, since then I always rode at least 2 times a week until today. Horses for me are the major part of my life and when I heard that these horses where getting killed I wanted to help out raising awareness."

Save the horses by scanning the QR code and donating from the website.
